business analysis lays
the foundation
for success

The data-hungry business lives up to its full potential since the business is able to transform data into knowledge and knowledge into value. We help companies gain insight into their entire business by creating a common frame of reference and enabling an understanding of the business model along with the business.

By analysing the business as a whole collaboratively, we can lay the foundation for a successful business intelligence solution that ensures insight into your business – at all times.

BI adds value
to the business

Far too many BI projects turn into IT project failures because they’re unable to add value to the business. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

The successful business intelligence solution is rooted in the organisation and is based on the way the organisation defines itself. Therefore, BI provides a unique opportunity to deliver value since the project will highlight the business’s key performance indicators in detail with the help of business analysis.

In order to create the best possible launching pad for success with BI, we map the business during the course of one or more workshops. We challenge our customers with questions so we can ensure a sound business case, where specific solutions are proposed and the business analysis contains sound conceptual models. A clear purpose for business intelligence is one of the prerequisites for success with BI.

analysis is
the path to
world class BI

When we run workshops with our customers, we often discover that even though their companies possess a lot of insight into their own businesses, business analyses offer a new perspective and better understanding of their businesses as a whole.

We carry out business analyses on companies in many different circumstances, e.g.:

  • Companies that would like to become (even) more data-driven
  • Companies that would like to apply BI to new business areas
  • Companies that would like to take advantage of business intelligence

conceptual modelling
what, how and why

As part of the business analysis we also find conceptual modelling.

What: Conceptual modelling creates transparency and clarity, meaning that companies can utilise a common frame of reference. It also identifies several dimensions and challenges, thereby ensuring the best design specifically for your business.

How: One way of creating a common frame of reference is ensuring a consensus between what people say and what they actually mean. It can thereby be ensured that concepts are perceived in the same way.

Why: We use conceptual modelling to achieve a situation whereby everyone in the company speaks the same language, as a common language is key to management of all activities throughout the process.
